What You’ll Do:

The Certified Electronics Technician will travel between locations to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations on essential equipment. This includes work on arrow boards, message boards, trailers, GPS systems, and other critical electronic components used in field operations. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to work independently, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally across multiple sites.

 What You’ll Bring:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on all arrow boards, message boards, and trailers, ensuring all systems are operational.
  • Install GPS systems on equipment, vehicles, and other assets.
  • Install and maintain cameras and lighting systems on vehicles, message boards, arrow boards, and other equipment as needed.
  • Travel between locations to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend the life of equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams to diagnose equipment issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documenting repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to on-site personnel when needed.
  • Stay updated on new technology, industry trends, and best practices to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Certified Electronics Technician certification or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics repair, installation, and maintenance, preferably in the field.
  • Strong understanding of GPS, camera, lighting systems, and electronic equipment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 100% travel) to different job sites.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in installations and repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients on-site.
  • Previous experience with arrow boards, message boards, and trailer systems.
  • Experience in installing and troubleshooting GPS and camera systems.
  • Familiarity with fleet management systems and vehicle electronics.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stoop, squat, crawl, climb, and perform other physical duties as needed for installations. 
  • Must be able to traverse uneven terrain in all types of weather. 
  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.

  • Fleet Manager

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to work weekends and at night, when needed
  • Background check
  • Must be at least 25, have an acceptable MVR, valid state driver's license
