What You’ll Do:
As our go-to Diesel Mechanic you will tackle everything from routine inspections, oil changes, to maintenance on our company vehicles. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys mixing things up, problem-solving on the go, all while being an essential part of a fast-paced team!
What You’ll Bring:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of company vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles and determine the appropriate repairs needed.
- Perform repairs and maintenance, including engine and transmission work, electrical repairs, and brake and suspension repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs and maintenance activities, including parts used and labor hours.
- Communicate with fleet management and supervisors regarding repair needs, maintenance schedules, and vehicle availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines in performing all work activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to share knowledge and expertise.
- Keep up to date with new developments in automotive technology and make recommendations for improvements to fleet maintenance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a trade school program in automotive technology is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
- ASE certification in one or more areas of automotive repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stoop, squat, crawl, climb, and perform other physical duties as needed for installations.
- Must be able to traverse uneven terrain in all types of weather.
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.

Other Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends and at night, when needed
- Background check
- Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
