
Staff Accountant II

That’s where you come in. As a Staff Accountant II, you’ll be a key contributor to our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, insight, and accountability in everything we do. This isn’t just an accounting role—it’s a chance to make a real impact at a company that’s moving forward.
What you'll do:
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately reflected in our accounts, reconciling bank statements and credit card charges to maintain impeccable records.
- Asset Management Review: Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the fixed asset ledger. Evaluate and implement improvements in our asset management procedures.
- Asset Depreciation: Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets, ensuring alignment with both internal policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Fleet Meetings: Participate in regular meetings with the fleet management team to review asset status and discuss strategic management of company vehicles.
- Asset Transfers and Write-Offs: Manage the transfer, sale, and write-off of assets, ensuring all transactions are executed according to company policies and compliant with financial regulations.
- Closing Purchase Orders: Efficiently close out purchase orders and reconcile them with our financial system to maintain order and accuracy in our financial commitments.
- Loan Transaction Entries: Handle the entry of loan transactions, focusing on both principal and interest aspects to ensure that all loan accounts are up-to-date and accurately reported.
- Participates in meetings with operations, accounting, and related departments.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., OneDrive, Lists, Teams, SharePoint), Oracle NetSuite, NextService, Intuit QuickBooks, or similar software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or vocational school training preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 40 pounds at a time.
