As a Lead Technician, at FC Traffic Control you’ll oversee a team of skilled technicians, guiding them through projects that make a real difference in our communities. You’ll be hands-on, working in the fresh air, and ensuring that every job is completed safely and efficiently. Your work advances your future and does not go unnoticed!

What You’ll Do:

  • Outdoor Setup: Supervise the unloading and setup of materials such as cones, signs, and posts to prepare work zones for action.
  • Precision Layout: Ensure construction areas are measured, marked, and perfectly aligned for efficient progress.
  • Tool Master: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of tools and materials, ensuring everything is ready for a seamless installation.
  • Jobsite Prep: Manage tasks like digging post holes, erecting signs, and cleaning up debris, keeping the site organized and safe.
  • Tool Operator: Lead the team in hands-on tasks using a variety of hand and power tools to complete work efficiently and to standard.
  • Traffic Control: Safely direct and oversee the management of traffic around work zones, ensuring the safety of your crew and the public.
  • Team Leader: Oversee the work of technicians, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard. Overseeing technicians with various tasks to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Drive and Organize: Manage company vehicles and equipment, keeping everything in top condition and ready for the next project.
  • Inspect and Perfect: Check traffic control devices for defects, ensuring everything is in perfect working order.
  • Customer Focus: Improve customer service and satisfaction through effective leadership and communication.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stoop, squat, crawl, climb, and perform other physical duties as needed for installations. 
  • Must be able to traverse uneven terrain in all types of weather. 
  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.

  • Supervisor

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to work weekends and at night, when needed
  • Background check
  • Must be at least 25, have an acceptable MVR, valid state driver's license
